EZ Steer kit in unopened original packaging $250

An EZ-Steer kit connects the main motor to the kicker, so you can steer the kicker with the steering wheel. I bought this about 20 years ago and never installed it. Now we're downsizing so I'm finally getting rid of it. At that time they were pretty popular among C-Brats. This kit consists of...

I need help with a starting problem

Problem solved (Ihope). I got a new starter today from Sound Starters in Tacoma. Now it's turning over faster than it ever has, and started almost immediately.

I need help with a starting problem

ssobol, I wasn't thinking that corrosion would be locking up the motor. I'm just concerned about the corrosion in general as I go longer and longer without being able to run the motor to flush it. I took automotive jumper cables with me today so that I could go directly from the battery to the...

I need help with a starting problem

I am having a starting problem with the 1987 70hp on my classic Angler and would appreciate the thoughts of all the experienced people in this group. Sorry this is sort of long, but I want to give a complete picture. We went out for a Sunday evening picnic a few days ago, and when we got back...

For Sale: $125 NEW Permatrim for 70hp & up Evinrude 2 st

I'm probably a little slow, but it occurred to me that this might fit more than the motor I bought it for. Sure enough, in response to a query to Permatrim support, I learned that it also fits these (but of course will not match the motor color): BOMBARDIER/ETEC MOTORS 70-300HP MERCURY/MARINER...

For Sale: $125 NEW Permatrim for 70hp & up Evinrude 2 st

I ordered this not long after I got our 1987 22' Angler, since many people on C-Brats raved about them. But I was happy enough with my boat's performance that I never installed it. I never even opened the shipping box until last week. The only "damage" is that the box of fasteners came...

Matching the gray of molded in non-skid on 87 Classic

I'm filling a couple of holes in the molded non-skid area on the bow. Has anyone used a paint or blend of colors that is similar? I'm planning to just do a touch up, and not paint all the gray. But my boat will never be absolutely pristine, so in this instance, close is ok.

    C-Dory "test drive"

I'm experiencing a bit of a setback. We were headed out for an overnighter on Sunday, but the motor wouldn't start. No spark! So I need to postpone my offer until I figure out the problem!

    C-Dory "test drive"

I'm in Gig Harbor, but my old "classic" might not give you an accurate idea of newer models.

    Sunstream Floatlift

Thanks, Bob. That was my inclination, but glad to have the confirmation. The boat moving to the house next week, so I'll have opportunity soon.

    Sunstream Floatlift

I am now the owner of a slightly used Sunstream Floatlift. Here is a photo of my classic sitting on the bunks, which are set up for a V-bottom boat. The bunks fit nicely between the splines or ribs on the bottom of the boat, but there is not a whole lot of contact area between the bottom and the...

It looks like the holes (circled in blue) through the diagonal member are provided to pivot the bunk to vertical...
