Another great C-Brat event comes to a close. Thanks John and Laurie for keeping this event happening! You did a great job with all the reservations and coordination that has to be done. We left with 11 boats, and we came back with 11 boats! A little rough that first day in San Pablo Bay, but...

Great day to be on San Pablo Bay. Flat, and little wind. But we did have the ebb tide to run against. Just a few photos to upload here. More at my Find Penguins blog.

Just a couple of photos from today. The top one is of Pathfinder 1 flying over the Golden Gate Bridge. Pathfinder 1 airship is almost twice the size of the Goodyear Blimps. Google for more info.

Pretty rough day today crossing San Pablo Bay, but we all made it. In Sausalito at the Schoonmaker Point Marina this evening. A few photos. More at my Find Penguins blog.

Forgot to post on here last night. Had a nice time in Petaluma. The river has really been cleaned up. Just a few photos. The rest can be found on my FindPenguins blog linked earlier.

Today we relaxed and socialized. Some rain moved in. Started the day with a great breakfast supplied by several of the group. Stripers caught were cleaned for supper. Fish and burgers for supper. Just a couple photos. (See more at my Findpenguins blog linked earlier.)

Ok, that's the second time that my photo in vertical mode loaded sideways. Anyone know now to rotate them?

All 11 of us made it to Wheeler Island duck club today. The write up and many more photos in my blog listed above. Here are a few photos for a taste of the day.

Seven of us here now on the Delta Marina guest dock. (And one more that is slipped here.) The boats here now, besides C-Traveler and Sea Spray, are Dora Jean, DayBreak, CaliCat, Nowhere Fast, Serenity, and Morning Star (slipped here in Rio Vista). A few of us will take off around 9am tomorrow...

I’ve never gotten a rock on the boat windshield. But I did make a protective cover with those foam rubber mattes between some heavy fabric. I did take a rock on the truck windshield on my Alaska’s Inside Passage trip, when a large semi met me on a corner in Canada, throwing rocks off the road...
