Towing a 22' Cruiser with a diesel Jeep Liberty?

As long as you are a bio-diesel household, have you looked into a diesel powered boats? I'd be curious as to what's available. I think Yanmar used to make a 36 hp l diesel outboard, but maybe not anymore. carl

    New C-Dory 29'

site says: "Stringers and bulkheads – urethane core" "No plywood used in construction" Is there plywood in the other c-dories? I wonder if there is balsa? It would be nice to have no wood at all.

    C-dory 22/Trophy 2359 Hardtop/Bayliner Discovery 192

Are you telling me that members of the c-brats site are recommending a c-dory over some other boat? That's wild! :) I just checked out a 1981 26 foot bayliner explorer today. Kind of a trophy top on a mostly-displacement hull. They were asking $5000 for it. It seemed surprisingly sound for...

22 ft. Hunky Dory, Less money

Good to read your report on the boat, even though I'd still disagree with you on the weight of the rack on top (there's a reason C-Dorys don't have a fly bridge option  ). If you want more boat for about the same money, I think there are some nice older Albin cruisers out there. The...

22 ft. Hunky Dory, Less money

Seems like the weight of that stuff on the roof would have a negative effect on the center of gravity making for a less stable boat. I'd seriously consider removing that rack if I bought this boat.

    Cape Cruiser out of business?

I got the following email from them on Dec 20 after contacting them through their site. I hope they do not mind me re-posting: -------------------------------- Hello Mr. Bunch! In a nut shell, Cape Cruiser Boat Works is in the process of restructuring our company. In the mean time, we are...

    Cape Cruiser out of business?

I wonder what will become of the molds. Those have got to be worth quite a bit. Carl
