Thanks for the responses! I checked the flux gate compass unit and it was clear all around. Another thing that happened was I was on slow speed auto-pilot and I noticed I was off course, based on visual reference. The autopilot just shut down. Maybe I was going so slow a wave pushed me over...

Visited West Marine this mornng and found 2 oval bait tanks, one 20 gal and the other 27 gal. Both would fit perfectly under the former compressor cover where the electric, saltwater and overboard dump access are. A square or rectangular hole would be cut on the top of the cover to accomodate...
