It took a Permatrim and Lenco 9"X12" trim tabs to get the nose down and get on plane quick enough to please me. Main engine is a Honda 75. C-Dory is a 19' Angler.

I built and installed a plywood door to seal the V berth area. Valuables get locked up when I have to leave. Removable hinges make it easy to take it off when not needed. It does not get in the way when under way and makes using the port-a-potty more private.

I am happy to report that SHALJE has been repaired and is ready to go (as soon as I get the necessary gear reloaded). After conferring with the factory the glass doctor epoxied the joint between the dashboard and cabin roof and applied fiberglass to make it look better than new. It is very solid...

Thanks to all who replied. Factory has been contacted and has assured me that my local C-Dory dealer will deal with the situation to my satisfaction. This seems to be a rare problem. Repair suggestions should be helpful to the mechanic doing the job. I'll try to keep you posted on the progress.

Do you have a suggestion for the repair of the dashboard/bulkhead? The rivets holding it to the cabin top broke and the only thing holding it on are the bottom screws (or bolts). Don't know what caused the problem. Has anybody else had this happen? Shalje is a 2003 19' C-Dory. :cry:

Is there an explanation as to why the starboard tank is the culprit? Has anybody had serious bulging problems on a port tank?

"SHALJE" had the problem of loose floor cleats on the side of the bulging starboard tank. Factory sent a new tank which dealer reinstalled. One season and the new tank also bulged and tore the screws out. I was concerned with the holes in the bottom. The screws on the non bulging port tank...

Loosen the nut and give a little squeeze. That should help it grab the threads and keep the window up. I used Vice Grips and had to give it a couple of tries before it was right.
