    Is a TomCat the answer?

Wow, what great insight! We live on the ICW and in our area, there are ALOT of minimum and no wake zones. So you spend a lot of time at slower speeds. Add to that the small chop in our bays and the small wake from other boat traffic and you get bounced around. Obviously a full displacement hull...

    Is a TomCat the answer?

I am not as concerned about "entertaining" inside as I am about having a place for guests to go when we get those 20 minute thunder showers in the afternoon. Push comes to shove, 1 person can sit down in the berth area. Thank you very much for you input. I want to spend some time looking at...

I have found that to be true, which is why I keep coming back to the Dory. Thanks for your input.

    Is a TomCat the answer?

Greetings! It's been a while since I've been here last and I return only because I found everyone to be very cordial and helpful. I have since sold my boat and am ready to buy my next one. I've been doing a lot of research and the more I do, the more confused I get. Anyways, I wanted to list...

OOPS. Got it all wrong.. Hi Larry, That's a C-Dory. The original owners of C-Dory produced about a dozen or so in the 90's for Fish resorts in AK. The new owner of C-Dory made one and we got it. It has been sold. This model is no longer produced. Mike ----- Original Message -----...

In an earlier post, I wrote about a picture I saw on a Dory site, where the engine was on a bracket, closed transom. I wrote 3 Rivers and they said there was only about 9 of those boats made. 8 were sold to a fishing charter in Hawaii. 3 rivers had 1 which they had kept as a demo. It sold a few...

Ya know, the more I shop the less sure I get. I guess I am just going to have to trial the 25. I've had smaller length boats and I know that I don't want smaller. Regarding speed, I think if the C25 will cruise comfortably at 20 or so in 1-2's, and 25 or so on glass I can live with that.

Went to the Orca site today, at colobear's suggestion and all I can say is "Holy $#@!". That is one fine looking girl. What I want to know is, why is it that all you folks are showing me pictures of boats whose owners are posed with parkas on? Are bikinis not allowed on CDory's?
