$I found I had to remove more glass as I was dealing with some white mystery paste that I found around the perimeter of the balsa coring so I didn\'t feel the need to put those little pieces back in as the epoxy and microfiber paste is at least as strong. all excess epoxy paste that squeezed out along the perimeter was thoroughly removed and cleaned off to be added just before the transom outer glass face was reapplied.

$The side show what was under the black plastic trim it\'s full length. Dry resin starved mat... Nio wonder water leaked into the coring underneith.$

added ~3/8 shim close to the sides to add the gentle curve in my transom and allow for the outside piece of glass to go on flush 360degrees.

$The light 3/8\" shims allowed for the ~1/4\" outside glass and a light 1/8\" of epoxy and microfiber paste.$

$with a narrow transom like this horizontal braces using the engine mount holes and 8\" screws works real well.$
