Loaded for cruising,dink in the cockpit along with cooler dink motor, barbecue up on the radar arch, full of fuel and water. Lot's of fixed docks with pilings, some make up a fender board made out of 5'or 6' PVC pipe with a line out of both ends so the PVC pipe hangs outside of the bumpers and is against the pilings. I use big bumpers with a line running thru it and knots on either side of the bumper to prevent it from sliding on the line. I tie the line off at both ends to the roof's grab rail and keep the bumper horizontal centered on the piling

screen shot of us heading into Baltimore. the black line heading off to the right from were the two channels form a Y is the next days heading to the other side of the bay put the green boat on the line click on the autopilot and watch for debris etc steer with hand held auto pilot remote control,that leaves our 4208 Garmin to run radar or a chart with radar over lay

Docked at Henderson's Wharf marina Baltimore's Inner harbor up a little to the left in the picture.The picture is of our laptop with a 15'5" screen running standard Coastal Explorer charts and software with a portable GPS puck pulled into a USB port velcroed on the dash near the front window

Our take off point Duffy's Creek Marina,on the Sassafras river 8 miles off the Cheaspeake Bay Fredricktown, Md. Excellent deep water launch ramp,fee 12 dollars, rig parking 6.00 dollars per day, trancient slip 1.75 per foot. all amenities including pool launch, showers fuel dock with gas and diesel. If you look carefully you can see a 22 C-Dory Cruiser Salt-C just to the rear and left of the launch ramp area.
