Mesh sun shade under the outer cover. These let light in but block a lot of the heat...like the ones you see on car windows. We also have one under the hatch opening in the berth.

Curtains have a snap installed on the corner so we can get some ventilation and still have privacy...and keep the sun out.

The snaps were installed on 3/4 inch nylon webbing that is sandwiched between the curtain and the teak. The snap stud is simply screwed through the curtain and webbing and into the teak.

I closed in the shelf with oak and added the stereo and weather instruments. Will upgrade to a new DSC radio later and cut it in on the right side.
