Handsome boat, what a beast. So what sort of drive is it? I/O, shaft drive? If it is shaft drive how much water do you need to launch it as compared to I/O. You cant tell from the pictures where the motor is located, I'm assuming in the cockpit. If so, is there a motor box you have to work around?

Shaft Drive, and I’ve only launched it in Newport and had no trouble. There is no motor box, so it is a very open cockpit.
 
Where is the motor located? I would love to see it in person. I might be stopping in Newport on our way home. If I do I'll drop you a note.
