this is a '06 90hp, after returning to dock with no problems decided to check oil. opened cover and saw tube on lower lefthand side and looked like it's connection was broken off from the casing at the bottom.this tube comes out and loops back and the curved loop does come very close to where the engine cover comes together in front, could it be an oil return tube and now what? cannot fit it back on stem broken off in end of tube..cannot find a picture to verify.any body know what it is , the engine seemed fine running unless it just broke off after.
boat was going to be used a few more wkends before service?? now the debate on what to do. _________________ Bon Voyage,

no it's not down in that bundle -- this is inside motor case, comes out below the oil filter and loops horizontally to the left into the very bottom of black housing on starboard side of engine. i wish i would have a picture.where it loops out is very near even with where the motor cover fits together but inside it. |
