Kayak here from Kamloops, BC. My wife and I have kayaked for decades but now want a C-Dory. I see there is a 2016 C-Dory 25 for sale in Camano but it seems expensive at US$125,000. With your experience and reading the specs on that boat what do you think is a fair price for a boat of that age?

I would make a new post with this question on C-Brats. That way you will get a lot of opinions from the members who have more experience than myself. If you're able, attend the Friday Harbor C-Brat Get Together next week. If you haven't had a chance to physically see and jump on some C-Dorys, this is your chance.

multimediasmith I like some of the things you have done with your Marinaut.
What kind of headroom do you have in the deck with the canvas on?
It looks like your Marinaut is one of the first two or three to be built.
Figured I had the only Marinault but .......hope you make it Hontoon. We have had ours three years and love it. We also have a Rosborough 28 but this is quickly becoming our favorite.

There are a few hen’s teeth around. Are you bringing your Marinaut to Hontoon? Looking forward to meeting you.
Hey Tom. Love the 750sq' Apt living. I'm about to retire and my wife and I are giving much thought about down sizing our living space (and stuff) from our current 1800sq' home. Ikea has been very inspiring with their small living space demos in their stores. Curious...do you have a storage space rental too or have you managed to minimize down everything to only the Apt. storage?
Hi Mike, Steve here, I registered with your new site many months ago. I’m able to do everything (I think). But I get this message when I sign off and I don’t know how to correct it. It says something to the effect “Oops, you must accept the cookies to use this site…”

This video shows my boat a little better.

Sorry so late responding to your comment Paul. I've been out of service. Glad you liked the video. Thank you for commenting about it.
Thanks for letting me join your group. I bought my cdory about a year ago. Its a 27' 1983. Just before I got it someone converted it to an outboard from an inboard. It had a 2 stroke older yamaha on it, not sure it was ever even run with it. First thing I did was buy a brand new suzuki 140 for it. I love this boat. I fish regularly year round in Katchamak bay, Alaska.
Day break, I’m wondering what 4” fan you use to move air in your boat Thanks

Caframo fans work really well. I bought mine at West Marine.

Hi Andrew,

The fan we use is made by 'efluky'. Not sure if the manufacturer is still around but the fan still works. It has a usb connection to use for running or if fully charged by usb, it will hold a charge overnight with the fan on a low setting, which is nice. Hope this information helps for you to find a small fan that is inexpensive and works well to help keep condensation down to a minimum in the cabin. Gary
