Thanks for letting me join your group. I bought my cdory about a year ago. Its a 27' 1983. Just before I got it someone converted it to an outboard from an inboard. It had a 2 stroke older yamaha on it, not sure it was ever even run with it. First thing I did was buy a brand new suzuki 140 for it. I love this boat. I fish regularly year round in Katchamak bay, Alaska.
Day break, I’m wondering what 4” fan you use to move air in your boat Thanks

Caframo fans work really well. I bought mine at West Marine.

Hi Andrew,

The fan we use is made by 'efluky'. Not sure if the manufacturer is still around but the fan still works. It has a usb connection to use for running or if fully charged by usb, it will hold a charge overnight with the fan on a low setting, which is nice. Hope this information helps for you to find a small fan that is inexpensive and works well to help keep condensation down to a minimum in the cabin. Gary

Thanks for the invite! I'm going to try but I don't even have my boat yet but I'm now under contract for a 2014 22 Cruiser out in Santa Cruz CA.I just need to get the inspection and sea trial done then haul her back to NC. Here's a link to some photos if you're interested. The boat is currently listed on BoatTrader.

Would absolutely LOVE to join the NC C-Dory raft up, just pulled mine out of the shop after replacing the transom, pulling all ext. hardware to replace adjacent coring with epoxy and microfiber, R&R all interior hardware, doing a complete rewiring, windlass, some paint etc. But have extended family coming here for the week... Will definitely join next time!
Did I see your boat in Ferndale?

If this was addressed to me, I sold my last C Dory about 4 years ago. It went to Central N. Calif. I am now 89 years old, and unfortunately can no longer do justice to the C Dory as an owner. Take care, Bob Austin.
