This will be my first time using the built in engine fogging system. Reading the manual it looks easy, Connect to a hose, turn on water, lift fast idle lever and start engine. After engine runs about 15 seconds lower fast idle lever. after outboard runs for about 15 seconds, raise fast idle lever. Now engine will accelerate to fast idle speed and fog itself. Then allow it to run until if shuts itself off, about a minute. My question is it this easy?
Happy Thanksgiving!!!

It is, and very effective too. Also, the engine will start like you ran it yesterday in the spring too. One or 2 other things you should do though, make sure you have your fuel stabilized for storage before fogging and let the engine run for a few minutes to get it warmed up before you start the fogging process. Don't forget to remove the prop and check for fishing line on the shaft (potential seal damage!) and grease the shaft before reinstalling it.

Check out this YouTube video regarding the Auto Winterization Process. It takes you completely through the exercise simply and quickly. It's a piece of cake...I have done it myself three years in a row now.

Good luck!

Lenny and Mark,
Thanks!!!!
Jim

PS I have been using Startron Enzyme Fuel Additative at every fill up.
