My 1989 cruiser does not have window screens on the side sliding windows, and is not set up for window screens.
I seem to remember from seeing other 22 cruisers that the screen track that the screens mount in and slide in is a separate aluminum extruded piece formed to fit the window and screwed or riveted into place inside of the window.
Could anyone with screens on a older 22 cruiser look at this and confirm?
If it is indeed a 2 piece system, I should be able to order the screen frames and the screens and add them to my boat?
If it is a one piece system then it seems that I would have to do a total window replacement just to add screens.
If it can be done, I would like to go the factory route rather that some velcro or snap on screens.
Thanks for any input.
