what a wonderful day

well, it wasn't a good day to be on the water, but it was a wonderful day for our family. My Daughter was married today to a great new son in law. It was a long day and it was a success. I was able to put enough Coho in the freezer the last couple of weeks to be able to serve Grilled Salmon as one of the dishes on the buffet table. we cooked 13 Coho and one King. fed 135 people and had fish left over. I also had 16 lbs. of finished product of smoked Pinks.

I had the best job for my daughters wedding by laboring away out in the boat catching those elusive Silvers. .....lol.....
as I said in my Fatherly Toast to the couple, "THE TIME HAS COME AND THE DEED IS DONE"

Roger,

Congratulations on the new acquisition. It is always nice to increase the family. Sounds like it went very well. Now you can do some recovering ---- and refilling the freezer for winter, or the next big party.

damn, that is a good day, congratulations Roger. To catch a feast worthy bunch of salmon AND a new son in law, good show.

Congratulations to the new Bride and Groom. Did the groom give you a new C-Dory as condition for her hand in marriage? :wink

Roger,

Loved the photo of you and your daughter (on FB) taken at the rehearsal dinner. Great smiles! Congrats to everyone.
