Washdown question and window cover question.

Has anyone installed a FRESHwater washdown by tying into the water tank? Would that even be possible?

I've noticed from the pictures in the gallery that the custom window covers all go on the interior acept the front seem to go on the outside. Why is this? It doesn't make sense to me that the front covers are exterior but I'm sure there's a good reason and I'm sure someone will enlighten me.
 
I made my own and they snap inside the boat, all the way around..not fancy, but they give us privacy to spend a night on the boat, and provide shade if it's too hot.
 
I put pressure demand electric pumps on the freshwater system on both my boats. It would be simple to attach a hose to it. But with three girls aboard, the freshwater doesn't last long enough as it is. What I do intend to do is tap into the pressure system with some small tubing and a valve to make a freshwater windshield washer.

The front windows have too much stuff around them to easily attach curtains on the inside. It could be done, sure, but the time it takes to put the things up and down would be longer than snapping the outside cover on, me thinks. Plus, the fit is much nicer on the outside because of the orientation of the windows. The curtains that came with the TyBoo25 all attach outside. Three pieces - one each for the side and one front window, and a single cover for the opening center window that allows it to be opened with the cover on. We haven't got around to covering the cabin door window because we just leave the door to the head compartment open at night and it blocks the window. With three girls aboard, the head seat must be kept warm at night, you see.

I made my own interior window covers and they all snap inside. I once saw a one piece front window cover that covered all three front windows. This would be handy to protect the front windows while towing. If you make your own covers think about a light colored fabric which will make it a little brighter at night.
