Wallas stove parts

Just picked up a couple of hood fan motors for the 95du wallas from an electronic supplier. Exact same as ones supplied by another well known company...total cost $ 3.54. ???

Rf-500tb-12560 is the motor part number made by mabuchi. This motor is used for the hood fan and the combustion fan. Purchased from the other well known wallas supplier would lighten your wallet by more than $100. Sending your wallas in for motor replacement would cost a few hundred.

Sorry to be so late on this one.

Good luck. We never could find a definitive part number on that motor. The ones from Wallas share the same brand name, but no part number.

Be aware that when the process of replacing the combustion fan motor is complete, the whole system needs to be tuned to put the exhaust gas signature within the proper ooutput window for a variety of gases. It is very possible you may hit the window by chance with a new motor, or maybe not.

When these little motors start to slow down (usually at 500 to 1000 hours or so), the slow fan makes for an overrich mixture, which can completely pack your heat exchanger full of carbon deposits (that is when the repair process can get ugly).

The new 85DU version uses fan motors with life expectancies of 30,000+ hours. We feel this is a big step in the right direction and the last five years of service have bourne that out.

Let us know how we can help, or contact Trotac in Victoria for help on the Canadian side.

Happy New Year!
