Hello
Visiting from Norcal. Need to pick up a 22' cruiser from Newport Beach boat ramp. Boat does not cone with trailer. Plan is to keep it in water vast majority of time so paying $8k for a new trailer is not reasonable- yes that's what people are quoting. Spent weekend searching for appropriately sized >=24' used trailer in SoCal. Can't find anything that fits my criteria. This will be a 500-600 mile trip back North. I'm not a thrill seeker so I don't want to jury rig a smaller or partially functional trailer for this trip. Must have working lights and brakes. I also would prefer to receive proper title. My hope was to be able to pick up boat Monday if I can procure a trailer.
Putting out SOS to SoCal community if anyone happens to know of an opportunity to have a lead on either a suitable trailer or a local transport company. I know about uship and other broker auction outfits. I would prefer to hire someone directly who has appropriate trailer. Destination is either Oakland or Spuds Marina on Bodega Bay.
