Update on Rebecca Childress - picking up the pieces

I had earlier posted that Patrick Childress has passed in Cape Town from COVID-19 and his wife, Rebecca has posted on their YouTube site a touching and very open telling of what lead up to his death and what has followed. She pulls no punches, shares most intimately and in a way, gives us all a bit of a model to consider for when it is our time to pick up the pieces. We have lost more than a hand full of C-BRATS since I have been here with you on the site and we will lose more over time. We have so much to be grateful for and lots of life left to enjoy. No one knows the day nor the hour of their passing, so perhaps we should try the harder to enjoy our passions and friendships. May Rebecca and her Valiant 40 "Brick House" find fair winds and calm seas as she continues her life adventure on the ocean.

Thanks Bob for posting us this link. It is a must watch for the entire length of the video. Our heart goes out to Rebecca. What she is going through and her thought process during this ordeal is a life lesson for all of us.
 
I was not a follower, but I saw his video on hull blisters. Seemed like a knowledgeable guy willing to share so others could learn from his experiences.
