As a newbie doing research into what size boat and equipment to get, please would one of you kind and experienced folks explain the pro and cons of bunks versus rollers?

That gives me the base line to check out my local launching facilities for what will be mean average launch conditions. I've got to get better at searching the threads for my answers. Or find the patience to read everything.
