I'll admit it: My King trailer has been neglected. I've stored the boat in the water and only used the trailer for brief in-town trips to Jacobsen's for engine service.

Now that I'm going to store the boat on the trailer and tow it over distances and at speed, I feel like I should make sure the hubs and brakes are fully functional.

Any recommendations on places to take a trailer in Seattle? King is in Marysville, so that's an option, but I figure my wise C-Brat friends might have a recommendation right in town.

Thanks!

Gary Estes in Issaquah is highly recommended. Just do a search right here on C-Brats to see what others say about him. He also does mobile service but I would take it to his shop if possible. He's right off I-90. Call first. (206) 999-2320

Gary Estes would be the go to guy imho. Pat and Patty Anderson have had excellent work done by him as I recall.

How old are the tires?
I assume they were new with the trailer...2003. The previous owner (Mac) used the trailer quite a bit, in saltwater. I bought the boat in 2007.

Sounds like Gary Estes is the guy to go to. Thanks!

Sorry Tim, but it's time for new tires for sure, no matter how much tread they have :cry 5-7 years is about max to be safe.

Tow safe and have fun! :thup

I can also recommend Gary Estes - he did the trailer work on the trailer for my 22 and on my current Tomcat trailer.

I see what you guys mean. Gary just seems like THE GUY you want working on your trailer. Dropped it off this afternoon.
