Was enjoying dinner at marker 4 on the icw Venice Fl. And in come this nice looking tomcat being towed. Had twin outboards so not sure what happened.

Perhaps the 2nd Tom Cat in history to need a tow.
See "Tough boating day ends with Sea-Tow."
Most likely, just practicing.

Cheers!

I can assure you this wasn't a practice run! Sea tow captain clipboard in hand. Collecting info for invoice. I was wondering how both engines shut down.

Hi Pat. I let Pandy Girl Sit in the Barn for about 6 weeks this Summer & the Carbs. Had to be Cleaned out. (Bad Gas & had fuel adds in it) With the Tom Cat he could have had some Elc. Problems. Do you have your boat down here? We are at Fort Myers Beach

No boat, motorhome, hope you and your bride are both doing well.

Thanks Pat. We are doing great, I sent you a PM

I lost both engines a couple of years ago, and had to be towed in. Bad gas in Friday Harbor was the #1 suspect, although not proven. Had to drain the fuel tanks and 6 carbs. Not a thing you can do on the open water, so a tow it was.

Martin.
