TC 255 Macerator mounting

I discovered recently that my macerators are held in place only by the hoses going to and from them. There are four screw holes in the transom wall behind them where it would appear they once were mounted. Would the vibration of the pumps have torn them from the wall already? Is it ok for them to be suspended like that? Should I screw them back down or just fill the holes and forget about it? I was in the process of fishing out a pile of rusting screws, hose clamps, washers, and other debris left in each bilge by the factory (rather sloppy I thought) when I discovered this.

Also, I looked up and found 4 or 5 holes (1/4 inch wide) in each inside corner just below the gunnel level. Something to do with the hull removal from the mold? Should I just fill them?

Thanks for any input.
