Tapatalk app

I like tapatalk for ease of browsing, uploading photos, etc but I have removed mine a couple times because the notifications were super annoying and I couldn't figure out how to turn them off.

To adjust the settings on iOS devices go to Setting
Select Notifications
Scroll to Tapatalk
Adjust user settings
 
I went looking at iPads yesterday and ready to buy one but I am switching to the Samsung Note III phone using the Android OS and started looking at several Android powered tablets.
