well yesterday was the last day for our shrimp season. I will look forward to next year. this year my brother and his family were able to make it, witch doesn't happen often enough. we had good weather minus the first sat where we were struggling with wind tides and wind waves.
we also attempted to do something with the heads this year rather than discard them, both turned out good and will be redone. we made shrimp stock as well as shrimp butter. out of the two the shrimp butter was the best and will be used the most.
the first sat was the only day we did not limit the boat(came up one short). here are the few pics we took along the season
opening weekend beach fire being made while Maddie collects wood

kids hanging out in the now rain opening day while the pots soak

the difference in day two ben heading out

Ben helping with the catch

Ben and O with some shrimp

good pot

Lunch and nap for some

lunch last day beach side

have to get a boat pic

and finally you hope it goes this way each drop
