The water heater that is. After 2 seasons with the boat we have become quite comfortable with heating water on the Wallas for all our needs to include bathing.
The 6 gal. water heater in place now is an ALL Stainless model, tank and jacket with an inconel heating element. It was something over $800 dollars when we put it in last year and we plugged it in at the house to see if it worked and never used it since. Right now the brand escapes me but once I get home and pull it, I will offer it to the crew for sale or as possible trade material.
It was a gratuity from our local dealer who had to replace the one in my boat. Part of our purchase agrement was winterizing, which never took place and that's a no no in Alaska! I might be pretty easy on this one!
I will be here (at work) for another week but will formalize this when I get home.

She's out! And the cabinet work is in progress now. I was able to clean up the factory hose routing at the same time as well.
Traded her for a Model 70 Winchester, one of my better trades! :thup

Also for those who may be interested, there is "some recent photo activity" in my Jewelry and Upgrades album.

Mike,

Ingenious ideas & beautiful work!

I could learn a lot from you, but C-Gypsy would still not look as good as your boat.

You're not really like a normal person, are you Mike? haha...

Actually I consider myself more normal than most people!
My vocation is very well suited to boating and I thoroughly enjoy the little projects as a relaxing pastime.
I'm sure each of you do something really well in your daily lives, my something is just directly applicable to the boat. All your seeing is the fruit of that effort.
So far the majority of the items have served a useful / somewhat decorative purpose. Several projects on the table for this winter will end up quite artsy.
The list is still quite long, stay tuned and thanks to each of you who show interest in my hobby.
