The Sea Beagle II is in the Traverse Bay area for the next week. If there are any C-Brats in the area, post a note or keep your eyes open for us. We just seen C-Scooter at Power island in the west arm of the bay. Michigan's version of cruise gathering. They were leaving town and we were arriving. I'll post some pics after vacation. [/quote]

Cannot believe that we ran into you guys. Have a good night on the hook at the island hope the skeeters aren't too bad.See you guys around the Great Lakes again.Ciao for now Eric and Leslie. Proud owners of C-Scooter

If we find a wi-fi spot later I'll post some pics before we return. Currently we're on the beach in Traverse City watching the wind blow the boat around. :smiled

Update: We will be in the Straits of Mackinac for most of the day on Wednesday, August 19. After four days in Traverse Bay, we are happy to get our land legs back for the drive up here.

Hi Beagle.

I just returned from the U.P. A suggestion would be a slip in the St. Ignace Muncipal Marina. Very nice docks and well located within the city. There is a very nice launch east of the marina down the end of Johnson Street near the Shepler's dock. It is free and lots of space to park your vehicle and trailer Mackinac City Muncipal Marina is a favorite of mine but St Ignace is a lot quieter. Plus it is a lot closer to the Les Cheneaux Islands, a must see.

Best regards,
Rollie/C-Batical

I might try the free one. I was wanting to visit the islands as well. Tonight we're going west on US 2 to find some woods to camp in for the night. Tomorrow is supposed to have light winds and nice sun. :smiled

I just posted a YouTube video of the bridge from my iPhone titled 8-18-2009. Look for it here http://www.youtube.com/SeaBeagleII.

We will be trailering the Nor'easter to Southern Michigan (Nunica) on Thursday/Friday to have a custom trailer built an Integrity galvanized (in anticipation of moving to Alaska in a year or two). We'll keep a look out for you. Hope you have been enjoying your trip Up Nort'.

We just seen a blue 22 C-Dory off of a peninsula of the Les Cheneaux Islands. No name or listing on the brat map. Post a note if it's yours. I might stop by later when I get back on the trailer.

Update: We are heading home a day early. Typical Michigan weather, sunny and 92 on our way up and rainy and 59 on our way home. We still had fun, pictures coming soon.

Well I've got a few days of photos in my photo album so far. By the way the youtube link in the earlier post above has a typo. There is no period at the end. You can click the link in my signature in the 1st post to get there. I'll be adding a few video there too.
