Sacramento to SF Bay and Delta

Anyone been catching anything in the bay/ delta or sacramento river???? If ya have what's hot? where do I go? and what do I do?

Now having been on this site a couple yrs now im sure I will get a wide array of answers to those questions, so bring um on

When I was down in sac for thanksgiving the stripper were still down below Isleton. Heres a good river
map site of the area. They should be moving up the river soon to the feather. try trolling large plugs or bait fishing[/url]
 
Thank you thomas, I have also been told there is a good sturgeon bite from the pg&e plant to the mothball fleet on roe and ghost shrimp.

There are a number of discussion groups that center on California Delta fishing.

Do a Google search on California Delta Fishing and one on each of the types of fish you are interested in, such as Delta Striped Bass. Tons of information. One source leads to many others.

Also try the Fish Sniffer online.
