Railings Needed in Northwest

I’m looking to replace the teak railings on my ‘92 CD 19 with stainless. Does anyone know of a good maker in the Seattle-Portland area? I’ve called Railmakers in Everett and was told they were backed up for months.

Has anyone installed off-the-shelf rails that were satisfactory?

Thanks for any responses.

Yes, That is what I would do...They must have access to some or buy them in bulk... I had inside rails made to match the spacing on the outside rails ...that way there are no extra holes...works fine...and sometimes you need rails to grab onto in heavy seas...

It may be unnecessary to say this, but whatever solution you choose, be aware of the problem of matching the length and spacing of your existing rails to avoid drilling extra holes and patching the original holes, including the gelcoat color match problem.

It might well be that the spacing and length of the stainless steel rails is different than the teak ones, or might have varied over the years.

Best solution in that case is to have new ones custom made to match your existing pattern.

Good Luck!
