Another cool thing you can do with these - get a second set, and install the female portion near the front of the cockpit. This allows you to take your camper back along with you, but get it completely out of the way if circumstances warrant (fishing, nice weather, etc.)
Simply stow the canvas up in the v-berth, disconnect the frame from the rear quick-disconnects, and re-attach the frame to the front quick-disconnects. Fold the frame flat, and tie it off forward against the cabin with padding as appropriate.
This is also a more secure way to tow the boat with the frame attached.
