President's Day Weekend Impromptu Cruise?

OK, very tentative at the moment, but we are thinking, take half a day off on Friday, scoot up to Twin Bridges, get in the water and over to Spencer Spit Friday night, spend a night on the hook. Next morning, who know? Up to the Gulf Islands, to Montague or farther? To Fred's cove on North Pender? Other destinations? Pirate's Cove? With Saturday, Sunday and Monday, we could get a ways north...
 
Janet & I will be in your wake. We won't be able to start our cruise till Sunday - Boys State Swimming Championship on Saturday. We plan on a Wednesday return. If you go into Canada, where will you check through customs? Bedwell does not open till May. Phone check in? Sydney? Canpass?
 
OK, this is coming right up now. Too bad about the timing for Luna C - it would be fun to hook up with somebody. It is now looking more and more like a launch at Squalicum, out Hale Passage and over to Sucia. Patty is more into the "being at" rather than the "going to" mode, and Sucia is both a wonderful spot and fairly close to Squalicum...looking forward to three days and two nights out!

Pat and patty , the susan E crew will be heading up to the islands on saturday thru monday. have not decided where to stay yet. maybe blakley sat.night then some where else sunday night. depends on the wind. we will have our son along and maybe the dog if i cant talk susan out of it.
