Paining aluminum outboard drive legs and especially I/O drives that are left submerged in the water year round is one of the great difficult tasks that defy simple explanation or execution.
After having dug into this topic myself for some several hours, I thought I'd share some sources of information for our C-Brat members with outboards requiring painting and especially those of us who also own boats with outdrives.
