Outboard hydraulic lifter rams

I have twin Honda 40’s on my 2006 C Dory transom. The port engine just started giving me trouble when I lift it out of the water. It makes a grinding kind of noise and only comes half-way up. I’m wondering if there’s a place to add hydraulic oil to each lifter ram. The starboard side works fine. Or maybe I need a new ram. Where is the pump that operates those rams? Are they independent? Is there one reservoir? Or any reservoir? So many question. Brats often have an answer. Thanks.

Look in the owners manual?
Yes you can add trim/tilt oil to your motor. The pump is bolted to the trim/tilt assy.
