Olympic Peninsula Non-Ethanol fuel

If any of the Brats on the Olympic Peninsula are looking for some non-ethanol fuel for your Winter lay-up, the Co-Op in Sequim has Non-Ethanol Premium. John Wayne Marina has 87 Octane Non-Ethanol for about $0.50 cheaper but isn't wild about running to the pump to fill your 1 gallon lawnmower can! I just drained and refilled all my gas engine equipment today. Bring on Winter.

Also on the Olympic Peninusula, I found non-ethanol regular (which I wanted vs. premium) in Chimacum at the Cenex station. This was last year though; haven't checked since then (although it still shows up in an online search).

The Cenex in Chimacum still has no-ethanol - I just pressed my tanks with it and a bit of Marine Sta-Bil in mid-October. Port Townsend's fuel dock allegedly sells no-ethanol too, but they want your body part, car, house & daughter.

I have been launching out of Port Townsend mostly over this last year and filling at the Cenex in Chimacum. It's still pumping non-ethanol as of a week ago. Not ready to do the winter layup quite yet, but still adding the blue Marine Stabil with each fill.

This web site lists non ethanol gas availability by state...and allows you to delete stations in the inventory if they no longer carry it...or add new stations as well. I have found it very helpful in both winter and summer.

Roger, the Snohomish Farm Co-Op has non-ethanol all year. It has become my fall & spring chore to carry my three 5 gallon jugs down there. I put Stabil in the jugs prior to filling.

In the winter the gas is on hand in case we need the generator. Then in spring I pour any left into M's SUV and re-fill them for the summer gas tools; power washer, mower etc. That way I know the engines always have "fresh" gas come storage time.

I hate the damned corn gas.
