Today was the uncovering day for t he 2017 season.
The boat is a dirty mess but will clean up quickly.
The tilt system was buggered up after the winter. Turned out that air got in to the hydraulic system. Lifting the motor (500 lbs) by hand up into the lock position, then filling the reservoir with ATF was the initial procedure.
Then release the lock and open the manual screw to slowly let the motor down. We did this drill 8 times until the air was purged and the reservoir was full. (And arms tired). It seems to be ok now.
