New Owner of 19 angler

As some of you have already guested I am the new owner of Rabbit's Hutch she has been renamed Rover. I name my boats after dogs the best animal in the world. Rover was chosen because as a Coast Guard Auxiliary facility she will be roving over the many rivers and lakes of NE Washington and northern Idaho.
The answer to the garage question If I took of the radar arch she is just about 96 inches on the EZ loader Bunk trailer. But the length is 24 feet which is to long for the 24 foot out side dimension Garage. Yes I could modify the trailer but have decided to rebuild the old build to fit the c-Dory and other things. I will rent a storage stall this winter.
I have been spending time learning her handling I am vary pleased. My first docking experience I missed the dock by about 10 feet (on the water side) does not turn like my mid engine Bartender. I have been playing with the trim tabs and motor tilt have a way to go. Got a lot of help from one of the threads thank you. I think I have the handling down from 3500 RPM to 5000 RPM. Below 3500 I need to get the feel and right trim settings above 5000 RPM is exciting right now I need to get use to her. The Coast Guard will like the fuel usage and My crew and I the comfort.
 
TOGO: Congrats on your boat. Do not worry about the close quarter handling of your boat. It will only be different each time you make an approach and often, just as you think you have things going your way, the wind will change, a boat that was not moving will move out with no warning, your cell phone will ring, the dog will jump from a nap and switch total sides of the boat in the cockpit area, the VHF will sound with someone hailing you..... and other than that... it will go perfectly.

I like what ol Dusty told me one day.....Never approach a dock or object any faster than you are willing to hit it. From there, it is all in your favor.

TOGO Congrats on the new 19 and on being a USCG Aux Facility. Someday if I ever get retired and have the time that is my goal too.

He has other good advise too, but be careful how you use it :P and you will do fine. Remember, boating is a fluid activity, so pay attention all around, or pay the piper.

Yes, congratulations from someone else who is newly joined. I'm sure you'll enjoy the cd-19! I was considering one until a good deal came along on a cd-22.
