new home for 22 cruiser

I recently put Serenity up for sale or trade. this last week we were able to work a deal out with a fine gentleman from Bakersfield CA. we made the deal and met at the Halfway point in Grants Pass OR.
we made the trip down and back and now have a 1993 22 cruiser sitting in our yard

now we start learning about the 22 and get comfortable with it. first thing is a trip to the shop for a motor check and service.then a trip to fisheries supply for a few needed Items and then a little dunking and run accross to Coupville for icecream and back. we hope to put her in the water in a couple of weeks.

Congratulations on the new to you, and on finishing the house trim paint job just in time to match the boat. Good on Ya. you are going to love that 22.

Congratulations! Your CruiseShip was really special and I hope the new owner appreciates it. And your new boat looks terrific too. I'm sure you will enjoy it!

(BTW: How the heck did you find a boat in Bakersfield CA?) Just asking because we've not been able to find anything at a reasonable price here in CA.... been thinking we might as well buy new. There are lots of boats posted here but the posting prices don't vary all that much, and they don't appear to be selling... so some of them must be overpriced?)
