Sad but true, "My Girl" is for sale. But it's just the end of a chapter. I'm not closing the book. I have loved C-Dorys and the C-Brats from the start. We have taken many trips and loved "My Girl". In fact, the long range plan is to someday have another C-Dory or boat from the C-Dory family. Here's what I'm thinking. Our family went to Maine last year. Because of boat trailer problems we left "My Girl" at home. We stayed on Vinylhaven and took a nature cruise to Seal Island , among other things. It was a wonderful trip! I can't tell you how much more comfortable I would be returning to Maine with a boat having ridden the ferry, taken a cruise around Penobscot Bay, seen the boat ramp and parking facilities and observed the tides and mooring / docking techniques. As I've mentioned here before I plan to get a van. I'm anxious to see the country a la John Steinbeck and Travels with Charley. Many of the destinations will be locales which I plan to explore as future boating destinations like Long Island, Memphis, and New Orleans and the northern Gulf coast of Florida. Hopefully to return to -- with boat in tow. Many thanks for the wisdom and friendship of all C-Brats. I will continue to frequent the site.
