Low Pressure Fuel Filters and other Parts

I don't live anywhere near a Suzuki dealer and was wondering if there was any substitute that I could use to replace my 1999 DF70 low pressure fuel filter and I also would like to replace my oil level plug and oil drain plug and gaskets. Do I need to order these items from a Suzuki dealer or are these items interchangeable with other outboard brands. Thanks Tug

I dont know and would stay with factory parts.

Browns Point has been mentioned several times as a reputable business

I like to purchase extras and other parts like thermostats, lower unit plug and gaskets, water pump kits, etc at the same time

Tug,
I like to mess with small outboards for a hobby and order most of my parts from either boats.net or partspak.com
With boats.net, looking parts up is very easy for most all brands...

Browns is where I ordered my Impeller Kit , I had looked at their site yesterday but didn't find those great filter diagrams. Thanks for the links and diagrams, I will look at both sites to compare prices. Tug

Browns is exceptionally quick and thorough with all the Suzy parts Ive used over the last 5 seasons. Prices are competitive with other Suzy parts dealers within a few percent.

I'd never use non-Suzy parts on my Suzy engines. Just my OCD way of dealing with fine machinery.

I've towed boats off the water every season. Don't always know why their engines fail, but I like to do things by the factory manuals, and so far in 45 years of boating, have never been towed....oh, dang, now I'm gonna have an engine failure for sure!!
