It's here! Our new C-Dory

We now have a permanent slip - much longer and no more pier to tie down. We took our second trip out today, hit the river, the intracoastal and then out in the Atlantic for a short spell. We weren't out 5 minutes and got boarded by the Coast Guard. Thankfully, all was well and we passed inspection. I'm thinking they just wanted to check out the boat!! Nothing like it here.
 
The last tme I was boarded by the coast guard they were doing a training run. It took nearly an hour before we were on our way again. But we passed with just a warning because we didn't have the boat registration with us...[but we had bought the boat just two days earlier].
