Installing a powered sink faucet in a 22 C-Dory

We'd like to replace the foot pump faucet on our 22ft C-Dory. Does any one have experience with a good pump & faucet combinations that will easily adapt to the existing system? 
 
We put in a whale pump from iboats.com based on the recommendation of another site member. You use it in addition to the foot pump. I think the foot pump may be a whale as well. Some pics are below.

I put in a Jabsco in line pump from Boaters World. They sell the pump with a faucet (part number 357400274) or just the pump. The faucet with the switch in it is pretty cheap so I kept the standard faucet and put a push pull switch in the face of the cabinet. I mounted the pump under the sink mounted to the side of the cabinet. Works well.
 
We have an electric pump, with a push/pull switch on the cabinet front, top left corner. Things I would change if I were doing it (again) since I didn't do it the first time: I would put a push-to-engage spring loaded switch. Use less water and less likely to accidently get left momentarily on. I would change the position of the switch to be forward facing on the cabinet, to avoid getting it bumped (raked) when passing in the walkway.

These are all great reply's and have given me food for thought. I agree with re-positioning the sink and moving the Wallas forward. I'm glad I posted this question I'd hate to do these projects 1 at a time. So it's off to the store for laminate, plywood and parts.

Don't forget that many galley modifiers have chosen to also build flat countertop extensions that fit over the folded-down helm seat to capture some more working space in the galley. (Just a reminder as you do your planning.)

Speaking of galley mods, I am surprised that no one (AFAIK) has installed countertops other than Decraguard. Any thoughts out there on that?

I had thought about other materials, like granite, (too heavy and expensive) corian (too ugly and expensive), decragard (too hard to get and fragile for a countertop), so went with Formica. Antique white (932-58) is a real good match.
I had thought about going with a different color, maybe faux teak Formica, but thought it was too much, adding another color to the mix.l

The Formica is 932-58.
