Id like to hear from folks who have recent practical experience cruising up the Hudson from NYC. Especailly if you have a dog on your crew. I have a good marina guide, but nothing beats real experience. We plan to take our CD22 up to Saratoga from CT. We would like to bring Jackson, a BIG Newfy dog. He cant climb ladders...any marinas I should avoid? How about those that just dont like dogs? Anchoring out is always a pleasure, if ya ask me, but Jackson needs to be on the hard two or three times a day.
yeah, when you are owned by a Newfy all your plans reveolve around he or her.
OH BTW..sometime in June, one of the Space Shuttles will be brought to the Intrepid Museum from JFK on a barge through NY Harbor..I plan to to be there to salute the ship as she floats by. Ill find out the date and post it here.
