Catman may be a while getting here. He sent me an email saying the site won't let him join, and that he didn'y have the foggiest idea why. I don't know if Bill is mad at him, or what, but CM is asking the wrong guy if it is a nerdle type issue.
 
Hi, guys! Say, I was just busy with some unrelated IS stuff here at work. Yeah, these bozos couldn't find their privates without a chart. Anyway, now that I've straightened out the uninitiated, I'm here and ready to help in any way I can.
 
It's all cool and stuff, but looks to 'business like' to me... (so far) How does one make there text larger and more fun like..... or can they? I really miss that humble little emoticon dude and especially the Stimpsters fave' the beer mug!.... ARG ARG :o How will you ever know it's really the RedFox, and not an imposter, after all :?
OK never mind, it's tired and I'm out......

No problemo, RF my friend...your friends will be green with envy...

Or would you prefer it small and red?

Highlight the text in the edit window you want to change, then change the font color from the drop-down box. Then, highlight the text again, and change the font size. You can click the Preview button to see how it will look, then click the Submit button and all the world will see!

And the best part - when you "oops", you can go back to the post and edit it.

Emoticons can easily be added - you have my word there will be beer icons before the weekend is up. :D

"and all the world will see!" (LOL) hey I'm really liking this thing all the more. It's just the micro fine text, I'll have to get used to in all the other areas, and these reply boxes. I'll be sure and stay away when I'm grouchy and tired (it might make me a trouble maker around here for certain!" hehehehehe :lol: or can anything be adjusted with that? I'm certain there's going to be more peep in need of larger size text.

One more question: Can one retain all the goofy titles and captions in there "slide Shows" and photo albums? If not why not... :o arg!

OK lastly (for now) Why in Tarnation does it cost so much for a years usage? or is that a pretty fair deal were getting. (pardon me for asking something I need to go and read for myself)

OK that's it, I'm sold on this new format now... no deletions show up in red, you can go back and fix your post (that's got to be the best of the best feature right there! WAA HOOO :D

Oh, TyBoo beat you to that little concern...'tis already taken care of good buddy, and super easy to fix.

1. Go to your Profile (link at the top of every page)

2. Scroll down to "Board Style"

3. The default is "subSilver". There's currently one more in the selection box - "subSilverLarge". Select it, click the "Submit" button, and everything gets bigger...

Dang - that last part sounds an awful lot like most of the SPAM I get... :P

I'm not clear on what you want - are you referring to the feature at MSN, wherein you could specify that all posts to the site also be sent to you via email?

Give me a little more detail, and if what you're looking for isn't already here, I'll look into it.

As a person who appreciates simplicity, and being a non-compu-nerd, anything you can do to make things run smoother is fine with me. I still fail to grasp what was wrong with the old site and I always fuss when things are changed.

A couple of comments:

Could the topics be listed similar to the MSN site? This opening page has a bunch of stuff I really don't care about, statistics, etc. but I would like to easily see what topics are being or have been kicked about.

If this note is the "normal" size, I think I prefer reading something like the size on the old site, whatever that was. It is all right to type at this size, but it seems unwarranted with over half the screen taken up with boxes and emoticons.

As a non-nerd, I don't quite understand what BBCode is, and a lot of the other preferences. I am one of those that prefer a TV clicker with up-down channels and volume and forget all the bells and whistles.

I'm good with whatever Brock says, my votes with him. I also agreed with some of the other choices bet liked my vote here best.
