It's looking like a repeat of 2005 for us in Simi Valley. Fire starts NE of us about 40 miles, expect it in your backyard 2+ days later. I now really HATE smoke and HATE wind, sick of it. But...so very thankful our house is still standing and not in immediate danger for the time being. Spent over 2 hours last night for my annual removing of the pine needles from the roof and gutters, filled several trash cans--tightly packed.
