We're once again, moving forward with the developer on the C-Brat migration. As of a few days ago we were presented with a test site to start beating up on.
Having done this enough in my working days, there's a fine line between having adequate eyes on a project and a mob. I'm looking for 2-3 more individuals (there are already three of us) who are interested in moving this major project forward.
Ideal volunteers:
Lastly - my asking for help here will no doubt get many more responses than are needed. There's a good chance I'll be telling many of you "Thanks, but we're good." Trust I still love ya' if you hear that, but the goal is to have a small, dedicated and focused team of 5-6 people with specific skills and the requisite time to get this massive project across the goal line.
If the above nearly thankless and totally unpaid opportunity strikes your fancy, please PM me.
Thanks!

Ideal volunteers:
- Technical background. You don't need to be a coder or full on nerd, but a thorough understanding of how modern forums operate is needed.
- Ability to clearly and concisely communicate in writing is mandatory. Bug reports, testing of new features, perhaps some documentation of the upcoming changes for your fellow C-Brats...we've many fine wordsmiths in our midst, and those skills would be most welcome.
- C-Brat Familiarity. We need folks who understand the community and how it's been run. Many decisions we'll be making, while technical, require an understanding of the audience and how they might react to the many upcoming changes. Everything else being equal, the longer you've been here and actively participating the better - but we've certainly folks who have come into the fold in the last few years who understand how we do things. So yes - there will be an element of favoritism. If I've known you and conversed for years, or you've a long and storied record of participation here that's going to be welcome.
