Hello/Goodbye!

Still miss Nomad. We sold her to a Victoria couple in 2017. Grapevine told me they are enjoying her, so that's good news.
Sold the Camano Troll as we have moved to the BC interior. The Troll is a great boat but not a lake boat.
New boat is a Regal 2200 Bowrider. Lots of fun on the Shuswap lake which has 1500 kms of shoreline. Should keep us busy exploring for a few years.
Some of my happiest Brat memories are the Friday Harbor annual gathering. Great people, great boats, great times.

Once a Brat, always a Brat.

Good luck on the new lake. I will have to look it up. No idea where it is. Did miss you Canadians at the gathering this year. Susan and I really want to get back up north soon.

Martin and Andrea,

We enjoyed our visits with you in Comox.

Best of luck in your new home! Maybe we will visit again when we get our new Northern Lite truck camper!

Hi Martin and Andrea, WOW, Shuswap, what would I give to be there now. It is 94F here and that is TOOOOO HOT :hot

Good to hear from you and you are welcome to stay in touch here, you know.

If that border ever opens again, I will be heading up north and you are not that far from Lake Okanogan. Maybe see you up there. Stay safe and keep that bow tilted up.

Our daughter lives a bit south down Hwy 97 in Okanogan, WA, so a trip north one day after the border opens is definitely in the cards! Our Northern Lite camper is currently being built in Kelowna. There appears to also be a much more direct route starting in Abbotsford!

So for those curious about where Shuswap Lake is, here is a map!
