Was at Wally World this afternoon to pick up prescriptions and a baby mouse for my Dell Mini and ran into a digital camera for $9. It's a "keychain" model, Sakar model 66579. No LCD vufinder but takes pictures and even AVI clips. Not much storage, 243 shots at High Compression/Lo Res setting but it's adjustable for compression and resolution. 20 shots at low compression/high resolution. It's only got a meg of SDRAM in it, no slots. Resolution is 352X288 pixels. Lens is a f=3.9/F2.8 Shutter speed 1.5-1/2400.
Comes with software on a mini CD and even has a continuous shot mode and a self-timer setting. Haven't looked at the output yet, comes with a USB cable too and I'll try it tomorrow. Bought one for each Granddaughter for Valentines day, the cards nearly cost as much as the cameras.
BTW, it will also double as a web-cam.... HUDATHUNKIT!
