Patty here. 38 years today (that's 36 d__n years and 2 pretty good ones). Happy Anniversary to my beer guy (he's snoring on the couch as we speak!).
 
If he got any of that grease on the couch, he'll have to work for 39!

Do the two good ones coincide with the addition of Oscar to the family?

Well, you must have good hearing if you heard us on your deck! We were in LaConner, not Fall City! Motored up from Everett, tied up in Jack Estep's slip next to the famous tug Patricia Ann (from the Lee Mann poster), stayed in the Boat House, one of the four Estep Residences in LaConner. Gina Estep is the senior planner at Snoqualmie, one of my colleagues, and Jack is her dad. Jack moved his modest little Meridian yacht out so we could tie up, he then took off for Lopez. David and Kate on Anna Leigh joined us Saturday, great time all the way around!

Thanks, Dan. Here is the secret, the most important six words in the English language: "Yes, dear. I'm sorry. You're right!" I would not trade spatial aptitude or mechanical ability for the last 38 years, and hopefully the next, ahem, however many years we may be granted...
