Fulton 3700 LB Cable Winch

I have decided to remove my PowerWinch 712 that came with my trailer. It doesn't work when i plug it into my truck and i don't want to start making repairs.Wanted to know if the ...FULTON 3700 LB cable winch... would be a good alternative .What size Fulton Winches are other people using who have a C-22. Thanks Tug

Yep -that's an excellent winch for a 22' CD. I replaced my electric winch with the Fulton 3700 myself. There's a lot to be said for the simplicity of the mechanical winch relative to having to keep electrical connections working for the electrical winches (also, it allows you to put your boat on the trailer even if you tow it with someone else's truck). Good...link...did a search but i couldn't find one that mentioned the recommended #'s...Will get one.......

I also replaced my Powerwinch with the Fulton 3700# winch. The electric
winch was a pain for a number of reasons. The 3700 manual winch is
great. Plenty stout and no hassle. You'll like it.
